International Sisters Trip
From the 17th -20th of April 2011 the World Assembly of Muslim Youth – Malaysia office, Sisters Section organized a fun-filled trip to Redang Island Malaysia for the Sisters from the International Islamic University Malaysia. The main aim of the whole trip was to give the sisters an opportunity to experience, appreciate and understand the beauty and power of Allah (SWT) creations around us. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to gain inspiration from, the crystal clear blue sea, golden sandy earth and the colorful ocean life to become closer to Allah (SWT) the Creator of the Universe.
The trip was filled with exciting activities such as snorkeling, jungle trekking, and fishing. It was a perfect moment for the sisters who were from various nationalities to have fun and to get to know their friends better. After a hectic period of final examinations the trip was an ideal, fun- filled and enlightening experience that will never be forgotten.
Sea, Sun and Sand!

Dr Bilal Philips | Let’s Talk About Love
As part of the 3 day series of lectures organized by WAMY in collaboration with Ummul-qura, Alhamdulillah yesterday 17/02/2011 has marked the first lecture on the topic “LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE”.
Dr. Bilal Philips was indeed unique in his approach to the topic, as he vehemently rejected all types of love except that which is for ALLAH Subhanahu wata’la or that which is for the sake of Allah within the rich principles and virtues of Islam.
The lecture has significantly stimulated impetus and intense understanding of real “divine” LOVE; and Alhamdulillah over 400 audiences which include students from different universities and working class Muslims attended the lecture. Wach out for the next coming event: (FRIDAY KHUTBA AT IIUM SHAH MOSQUE , 1AM. AND THE 2nd LECTURE, 8PM AT THE SAME VENUE).
Rehlah Tarbawi Pelajar IPT
Nama Program: Rehlah Tarbawi Para Pelajar IPT
Tempat: Lopoh Waterfront, Hulu Langat Selangor.
Tarikh: 24 Julai 2010 /12 Syaaban 1431 H
Program ini adalah anjuran Unit Wanita WAMY Malaysia. Objektif program ini adalah untuk merapatkan ukhuwah sesama pelajar selain dapat mengenali lebih dekat para mad’u baru. Aktiviti yang diadakan adalah untuk mengajak para peserta bertafakkur tentang kejadian alam ciptaan Allah supaya mengenali pencipta melalui alam sekitar . Meningkatkan tahap disiplin dan ketaatan kepada ketua.
Ukhuwah sesama peserta dirapatkan lagi dengan aktiviti ‘Jom Makan Buah’ secara beramai-ramai . Buah-buahan yang menjadi pilihan penganjur adalah buah durian dan buah dokong. Aktiviti ini diselang seli dengan sesi ta’aruf sesama mereka.
Selepas tamat program, para peserta pulang ke destinasi masing-masing setelah dititipkan pesanan agar dapat mempraktikkan segala ilmu yang diperoleh sepanjang program.
Kerana Dirimu Amat Berharga
On the 8th and 9th of January 2011 ( 2nd and 3rd Safar 1432H) Nisa’ WAMY Malaysia held a program “Kerana Dirimu Amat Berharga” at Masjid Abu Bakar As Siddiq, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. 45 career women participated in this program. Generally all participants were satisfied with this program and really hope that there will be more programs such as these in future.
As the organizer for this program WAMY Malaysia feels very satisfied with the cooperation shown by participants and suggest to do a program such as this again soon.
